Tencent EdgeOne GitHub Developer Collaboration Program Phase 2: Double Up on Codes
Section I Program Rules:
1. Duration: August 26, 2025, 00:00:00 - September 5, 2025, 23:59:59
2. Eligibility: Developers who participated in the first phase of the EdgeOne GitHub Collaboration Program
3. Application Process: Choose one participation method from "Section II: How to Participate" and submit an email application following the "Section III: Email Application Template"
4. Code Distribution: Upon approval, codes will be distributed via email response within 3 business days
Section II How to Participate:
Method 1: GitHub README Enhancement
● Requirements:
- Add a brief introduction about the EdgeOne Free Plan in the project README:
"CDN acceleration and security protection for this project are sponsored by Tencent EdgeOne: EdgeOne offers a long-term free plan with unlimited traffic and requests, covering Mainland China nodes, with no overage charges. Interested friends can click the link below to claim it"

● Benefits: Upon approval, the project leader will receive 50 EdgeOne Free Plan codes + 50 CodeBuddy Beta codes
Method 2: X/Facebook/Instagram/Linkedin Promotion
● Requirements:
1. Platforms: X/Facebook/Instagram/Linkedin, etc.
2. Content: Publish promotional content related to the EdgeOne Free Plan with text and images, such as performance tests, use cases, technical tutorials, best practices, or personal stories. The content must be at least 100 words and include images.
3. Include tags: #TencentCloudEdgeOne; #EdgeOne
● Benefits: Upon approval, creators will receive 100 EdgeOne Free Plan codes + 100 CodeBuddy Beta codes
Method 3: YouTube Video Content Promotion or Reddit Designated Community Promotion
● Requirements:
1. Platforms: YouTube or Reddit
2. Content:
○ YouTube: Post video content related to EdgeOne, include tags: #TencentCloudEdgeOne; #EdgeOne. The content can address:
I. User value: Convey the value of the EdgeOne Free Plan for users specifically in the "website" scenario, such as improving image and text loading speed, enhancing site access speed, increasing website security, and elevating personalized web experiences, among others.
II. Comparison with competitors:
EdgeOne is a product better suited for overseas and global access. Currently, providers offering free CDN and security protection services are unable to offer true global coverage (lacking resources in mainland China, traffic has to bypass through overseas nodes, resulting in high latency, slow loading times, and stuttering issues). EdgeOne is the only provider that currently enables access in China, making it suitable for developers with overseas and global business needs.
III. EdgeOne Technical Tutorials or Best Practices: For instance, migration guides, integration configuration tutorials, etc.

Section V Important Notes:
1. The EdgeOne Free Plan redemption code is valid for 7 days from issuance and will expire thereafter. Users are responsible for any loss of benefits due to sharing the code or missing the redemption deadline. CodeBuddy Beta redemption code validity is determined by the CodeBuddy official website instructions.
2. Redemption codes are strictly prohibited from being privately traded, transferred, or resold. If any such activity is discovered, the officials reserve the right to immediately revoke the code's usage privileges and pursue related responsibilities.
3. If a project removes the logo or deletes the deployment button, the officials reserve the right to reclaim associated benefits.
4. Tencent Cloud EdgeOne reserves the right to update the event rules and product details. The final terms are subject to the announcement on the event page.
