Tencent EdgeOne x GitHub Developer Initiative: Supporting Open Source Projects with Acceleration and Security
Recently, EdgeOne has received many inquiries from GitHub developers asking, "Can you provide acceleration support for open source projects?" In response, we are launching a special GitHub collaboration program. This program offers resource support in the form of EdgeOne free package redemption codes to enhance quality open source projects and help developers improve their project experience.
Program Rules
1. Event Duration: June 24, 2025, 00:00:00 - July 15, 2025, 23:59:59
2. How to Apply: Choose one of the participation methods outlined in "Section Two: Participation Methods" and submit an email application following the "Section Three: Email Application Template" guidelines.
3. How to Get a Redemption Code: After sending the application email, approved users will receive the redemption code via email within 7 working days.
How to Participate
1. Technical Sponsorship Display
● Eligibility: Open source projects with GitHub Stars ≥ 100
● Requirements: Add a statement in the project README: "CDN acceleration and security protection for this project are sponsored by Tencent EdgeOne."
○ Embed the EdgeOne logo and link to the official website (link must be clickable).
● Rewards: Upon approval, project leaders can receive 1 to 10 EdgeOne free plan redemption codes (number of codes = Star count/100, up to 10).

2. One-Click Deployment Integration
● Eligibility: Projects related to function services and web deployment with GitHub Stars ≥ 100
● Requirements: Add a "Deploy to EdgeOne" button prominently in the project README.
○ Follow the tutorial to deploy the button.
● Rewards: Upon approval, project leaders can receive 10 to 50 EdgeOne free plan redemption codes (number of codes = Star count/10, up to 50).
3. Free Acceleration for GitHub Pages
● Eligibility: All projects hosted on GitHub Pages, created before June 1, 2025
● Requirements: Provide the URL of the project deployed on GitHub Pages (e.g., projectname.github.io).
○ After receiving the redemption code, if you find the experience satisfactory, we encourage you to share a speed test comparison before and after deploying the EdgeOne free package on platforms like GitHub/X/YouTube.
● Rewards: Limited to 20 lucky users per weekday,, each receiving 1 EdgeOne free plan redemption code.
4. Technical Content Creation
● Eligibility: All GitHub developers
● Requirements: Make EdgeOne technical tutorials on GitHub (use cases/integration examples/Pages templates and toolchains, etc.)
● Rewards: For each approved tutorial, creators can receive 10 to 50 EdgeOne free plan redemption codes based on the quality of the content.

Important Notes
1. Redemption codes are valid for 7 days from issuance and will expire thereafter. Users are responsible for any loss of benefits due to sharing codes or missing the redemption period.For more detailed redemption terms, please refer to the information provided on the redemption page.
2. Redemption codes must not be traded, transferred, or resold. Any violation will result in immediate disqualification and potential legal action.
3. If a project removes the logo or deployment button, Tencent EdgeOne reserves the right to revoke rewards.
4. Tencent EdgeOne reserves the right to update the program rules and product details. Final terms are subject to the official event page.
