  • Inspiration

    Our game is inspired by the fleeting nature of thought and memory—how fragments of words and sparks of light flash through our minds for only a split second before vanishing. Players take on the role of a lonely child by a fire, catching magical sparks that carry words. These sparks, like the words they bear, appear and disappear in an instant, emphasizing the impermanence of each moment.

  • Gameplay

    Players use a magic-wand-shaped net to catch fleeting sparks carrying words and phrases in a surreal, dreamlike environment. Each spark appears briefly before vanishing, and the goal is to collect all the words to form the ephemeral poem inspired by “I wandered lonely as a cloud”. The game encourages players to pause and admire the atmosphere, reflecting the quiet beauty of the world around them, just like in the poem, blending gentle exploration with moments of poetic reflection.

  • How It Was Built

    We built the game in Unity, using Timeline, particle systems, and custom shaders to create the magical sparks, flowing words, and the ethereal, surreal environment. These tools allowed us to emphasize fleeting moments and poetic visuals, giving players a sense of wonder as they catch sparks and form the ephemeral poem.
