Origin Protection Enablement Conditions of Use

Before activating Origin Protection, please ensure that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions. By enabling this service through the Tencent Cloud International Console, API, Terraform, or other means, you are deemed to agree to, and are bound by the terms herein. If you do not agree to any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use Origin Protection.
These terms and conditions supplement and should be read with the Tencent Cloud Terms of Service. In case of any conflict or inconsistency between these terms and the Tencent Cloud Terms of Service, these terms shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

1. Origin IP ACL CIDRs Change Explanation

1.1 Tencent EdgeOne (hereinafter "EO"), may periodically update its origin IP ACL CIDRs to enhance network stability, reliability, security, accommodate scaling demands, or comply with regulatory requirements. Such changes include additions or removals of IPv4/IPv6 CIDR blocks provided under Origin Protection.
1.2 EO will notification ranging from 14 days, 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day prior to implementing CIDRs changes via one or more channels, including in-console messages, SMS, and email. To ensure receipt of these notifications, please verify that EdgeOne product notifications are enabled in Sign in - Tencent Cloud and confirm that message recipients are correctly configured. 2. Timeliness Requirements for Updates

Upon receiving a"Notification of Origin IP ACL CIDRs Update" from EO, you must update your origin server’s firewall rules with the new CIDR blocks within 14 calendar days (unless otherwise specified). Follow the steps outlined in Origin Protection. For example, if EO sends "Notification of Origin IP ACL CIDRs Update" on January 1, 2025, at 12:00:00 (UTC+0), you need to complete the update on your origin firewall by January 15, 2025, at 12:00:00 (UTC+0).

3. Disclaimer

If you fail to complete the required updates within the specified timeframe, EO reserves the right to enforce mandatory updates to the latest origin IP ACL CIDRs. You acknowledge and agree that any adverse consequences (e.g., origin-pull failures, service downtime) arising from such delays will be solely your responsibility. These scenarios are excluded from the service availability commitments under the EdgeOne Service Level Agreement.
